The accessible beach

The Beach of Values – Insieme a Te in Punta Marina Terme (Ra) is open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 7 PM, from 29 June to 14 September 2024.

Starting from the summer of 2024, the structure becomes permanent and offers eighteen reserved stations, adequately spaced and covered by gazebos, and twelve stations under umbrellas, equipped to host people with total motor disabilities (tetraplegia) and/or those affected by neurodegenerative diseases (such as ALS and similar conditions), along with their companions. It also features accessible bathrooms, areas for volunteers, offices, common areas, and a multipurpose hall for activities for volunteers and guests, as well as public awareness initiatives.

Each reserved station is equipped with electricity and retractable curtains on all four sides for privacy.

A dedicated walkway connects the entrance of the beach from the stations all the way to the shoreline.

There are eight sun-sea chairs, two sofao chairs for completely bedridden individuals, two jobs, and one tiralò, along with life rings and floating jackets.
All guests, who use the services for free, are accompanied into the water by volunteers via a walkway that provides access to the sea. Assistance remains the responsibility of family members or designated persons.

A receptionist and two care assistants (OSS) per shift are always present, along with youth service groups and volunteers.

Additionally, there are 50 stations with umbrellas and sunbeds available for everyone’s holiday.

The Beach of Values of Associazione Insieme a Te does not have a refreshment point, but bar and dining services are available just a few metres away in the adjacent beach establishments.
